When I first began my career, I began working for a large firm in their international corporate department. Immediately after law school, I start full-time with a boutique firm which represented, primarily, international investors. My role was primarily dedicated to the firm's fast-growing corporate practice. After some time practicing in a private firm setting, I was offered the opportunity to become General Counsel for a large, Florida-based hospitality management and development group. Taking an in-house counsel position helped me learn the ins-and-outs of what growing businesses actually need. As General Counsel, I prepared contracts of every type, oversaw equity raises and fund formations, structured new companies, oversaw the development of new product lines and services. Additionally, I began developing an intellectual property practice in addition to corporate and business law. After working for Menin Hospitality, I took a position as General Counsel for Del Toro Shoes, an international footwear and apparel brand and was engaged in much of the same work as with Menin Hotels. In 2014, I branched off on my own and started my own firm, specializing in corporate and intellectual property law for a wide-range of businesses. Many of our clients are young businesses in the creative industries, however, our firm represents companies ranging from large, publicly-traded corporation to small, start-up enterprises of every type. I enjoy working with clients with fresh, new ideas and providing 360-degrees of representation in all aspects of my clients' businesses.
